I’m Kay Akard. I’m an Indiana landscape oil painter and former journalist.  l still love to tell stories – but now I do it with a paintbrush.

I specialize in racing images from my hometown and sailing scenes from the lake I live on, but I also love to paint images from my travels and the scenery all around me. 

 

When I am not painting from my backyard, I love to tell other people’s stories on canvas.
